There are many different types of saunas for private or public purposes, but a few unique features and finishing options set some sauna designs apart. This course explains why the sauna has a much deeper tradition than wellness and discusses the considerations for selecting a ready-made or tailor-made sauna solution.

Bobby’s career began in Northern California, where he worked at a redwood sawmill and gained an appreciation for hard work, precision, and the occasional need for a really sharp blade. After a brief detour as a gas station attendant—where he discovered that customer service and fuel fumes make for an interesting combination—he transitioned into building material distribution. That path eventually led him to Thermory, where he now combines his passion for wood, craftsmanship, and creating spaces that people love.
When he’s not spreading the sauna gospel, Bobby can often be found in his workshop crafting something new out of wood, or on the trails soaking up nature one hike at a time. Whether he’s sanding, sweating, or summiting a hill, Bobby brings a focus on the details and a love for the journey.
