Eco Red Shield Receives Additional Manufacturer Approval for Use in Wood Frame Construction VISTA, Calif., Aug. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Eco Building Products, Inc., (OTCBB: ECOB) announced today that Eco Red Shield tm coated lumber products has received approval for use from Simpson Strong-Tie, a leading manufacturer of anchoring, fastening systems and concrete repair, protection and strengthening products recognizing Eco Red Shield tm and congratulates Eco Building Products on their ICC-ES code acceptance (ESR-3255). According to Eco Building Products Engineering Services Report (ESR), the DOT (Disodium Octaborate Tetrahydrate) coating falls within the approved and allowed compounds listed in Simpson Strong-Tie technical publications. Eco Building Products "Eco Red Shield" coating receives a "Low" classification as the prescribed connector coating recommendation for structural applications.
