ICHTERSHAUSEN, Germany, January 17, 2011/PRNewswire/ -- With effect immediately, 65,000 modules from Masdar PV will be generating 6,096,000 kWh of renewable energy annually at Europe's largest ground mounted plant with solar modules from Masdar PV. In partnership with Beck Energy GmbH the project with an installed capacity of 6 MWp was realized on a ca. 30-ha site in Luckenwalde (50 km south of Berlin) and connected to the grid within a period of only two months. The total solar energy generated by the modules can supply around 2,200 four-person households.
