Mixed-use SouthPark offices rated through existing buildings program CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The two office towers at Piedmont Town Center in SouthPark earned Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Over the past 16 months, the Crescent Resources property management team worked diligently to achieve LEED certification. The project's LEED consultant was LORD Green Real Estate Strategies, Inc., a Dallas company that specializes in greening existing buildings. Houston-based Transwestern provided the project's commissioning services and ensured that all the building systems and components were designed, installed, operated and maintained efficiently.
