- National Starts Sales of SolarMagic Power Optimizers in Japan through National's First Japanese PV Partner TOKYO, June 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National Semiconductor Corp. (NYSE:NSM) , of Santa Clara, Calif. (USA), and West Holdings, Japan's leading company in environment-compatible home remodeling and improvement businesses such as photovoltaic (PV) systems, all-electric home appliances and house insulation services, today said that the two companies have signed an agreement to promote and sell National Semiconductor's SolarMagic(TM) power optimizers in the Japanese market. This announcement makes West Holdings the first Japanese PV business partner for National. West Holdings today said House Care, one of its group companies, began selling SolarMagic power optimizers on June 22 by providing its customers with residential PV systems combined with SolarMagic. SolarMagic power optimizers are already available in the world's important PV markets including Europe and North America.
