Whirlpool Corporation Helps Celebrate 1,000th Home Milestone with Habitat for Humanity(R) of Colorado

LONGMONT, Colo. (Nov. 21, 2008) – As one of Habitat for Humanity's largest corporate partners, Whirlpool Corporation is proud to help celebrate Habitat for Humanity(R) of Colorado’s 1,000th home milestone. Dedication of the 1,000th home takes place on Nov. 22, in Longmont, Colo. The honorable Andrew Romanoff, speaker of the Colorado House of Representatives, will preside over the ceremony and celebration. In addition to Whirlpool Corporation contract support representative Amy Schiebel and the company’s direct builder account managers Rhandi Bobo, Scott Park, Lori Raymond, Randy Schutte and Jim Varvil, fellow Habitat for Humanity homeowners and supporters from around the state will join in the celebration. “This is truly a historic occasion for Habitat, and we’re excited to be able to share these moments with Whirlpool Corporation, which has been so dedicated to our cause,” said Stefka Fanchi, executive director for Habitat for Humanity of Colorado. “Whirlpool Corporation and people like Rhandi, Scott, Lori, Randy and Jim have been instrumental in helping us reach the 1,000-home mark.
