The Alcoa booth (#126) provides an overview of the many aluminum products that help the building and construction industry make strides in reducing energy consumption and emissions in their projects. The Alcoa exhibit will feature a selection of buildings that have received world energy and environmental standard ratings, such as the LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the top U.S. standard for green building. These buildings include Kawneer architectural aluminum products such as the 7500 Wall® curtain wall and 1600 PowerShade®, a patented Building Integrated Photovoltaic sunshade. Alcoa’s formula for sustainability, which includes information on the company’s sustainability framework, and its business, community, global, and green building solutions is featured.
