January 18, 2007

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--CS Odessa, a leading provider of productivity solutions for the Macintosh and PC, announce the release of ConceptDraw Project 3, a totally redesigned version of their popular Project 2. Project 3 provides a new intuitive interface, sophisticated critical path management tools, and task filtering and sorting capability. A network diagram representative view of projects has also been added which can display the sequential and logical relationship of activities which comprise a project, giving managers a better view of what is transpiring. For Macintosh users the new version is a universal binary application and runs natively on all Intel-based Macintosh computers. “ConceptDraw Project 3 is designed to plan and keep track of any number of projects simultaneously. There's often a need to work on several projects at the same time and we believe that ConceptDraw Project 3 is the right solution for those who strive to increase the overall business performance and work in a mixed Macintosh and PC environment,” remarks Oleg Bocharnikov, Head of Product Management Department for CS Odessa. Usability was paramount in Project 3 so new, floating dialog boxes were added, providing quick access to various frequently performed tasks such as resource allocation or changing of task properties. Taking into consideration user feedback ConceptDraw Project 3 also adds the ability to set coloring, font and filling for almost any element on the screen. This control is essential in highlighting important tasks, grouping them by color or configuring printer output.
