MACEDONIA, Ohio, Jan. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Receiving the Insulating Glass Certification Council's highest certification for its Comfort-Gard Plus(R) glass technology, Patio Enclosures, Inc. has become the only sunroom manufacturer to attain this distinction for the commercial and consumer sunroom markets. Comfort-Gard Plus glass has been subjected to the Harmonized Insulating Glass Standard (HIGS), a test standard that contains three parts: high humidity testing; accelerated weathering testing; and volatile fog testing. The certification means that the glass meets the industry's highest condensation resistance and durability standards. This is especially significant to home and commercial building owners since insulated sunroom space is comprised mostly of glass.
