DURADEK Waterproof Walkable Membrane

Since 1974, Duradek® has been supplying North America's premier sheet vinyl pedestrian traffic membrane. Along with other PVC products, such as siding, windows and industrial roofing, Duradek® vinyl has gained wide acceptance in the construction industry as the ultimate in maintenance-free outdoor flooring. Duradek® 's factory engineered products and professional, detailed installation techniques have set new standards for waterproofing that works.

Duradek® has been installed, through professional applicators only, on over 100 Million Square Feet of flat roofs, decks and balconies all over North America. We've solved difficult waterproofing problems in the hottest, coldest, and wettest parts of the continent.

As the unquestioned market leader, in an industry that we created, Duradek Ultra membranes have been tested and are deemed to meet the requirements for a Polyvinyl Chloride Roofing and Waterproofing Membrane and as a Traffic Coating. All Duradek® membranes are reinforced for multi-directional strength and stability, and have a textured finish for slip-resistance. To increase performance, the vinyl makeup includes mildew inhibitors along with ultra-violet and heat stabilizers. It is also fire-retardant and resistant to most chemicals. Attractive patterns, colors and textures provide a contemporary new look, previously unavailable in the outdoor waterproof flooring market.

In addition to being a proven, long lasting, waterproof system, Duradek has many added benefits. It can be applied in one step and used immediately. It can be applied in poor weather conditions and even goes over existing coatings.

The Duradek® training is a combination of floor laying skills for appearance, and single ply roofing skills for water tightness. Thorough knowledge of adhesives, sealants, coatings, carpentry, and concrete restoration work are common traits of a Duradek® contractor. Duradek® offers ongoing classroom and video training to waterproofing contractors.

DURARAIL Powder Coated Aluminum Railings

Duradek produces the "Durarail" aluminum component railing system for new construction or remodeling, residential or commercial. Available in several rail profiles and several powder coated stock or custom colors, "Durarail" is designed for fast and versatile installation to fit any deck configuration. It is available in "view-through" tempered glass and traditional picket designs to meet all national building codes. TILEDEK Anti-fracture Waterproofing Membrane

Duradek pioneered the sheet vinyl decking industry with its unique system that was (and is) only available through a network of applicators specifically trained for this end use. And now, using the same proven installation techniques, the same network of professional applicators and a variation of the same product (of which over 100 million square feet have been installed), TILEDEK is about to revolutionize the decking and flat roof deck industry.

Duradek's TILEDEK is an approved roof membrane, virtually identical to Duradek Ultra except for a fabric laminated to its topside. The tiles are bonded securely to the fabric-covered membrane with thinset mortar. Duradek Ultra has been tested to meet the CGSB and CCMC requirements in Canada and the ICC requirements in the US as a walkable roof deck membrane. In addition, it is under Quality Control guidelines through ITS.
