USGBC Maryland 5th Annual Green Building Awards - Call for Nominations

BALTIMORE, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The US Green Building Council, Maryland Chapter (USGBC Maryland) is pleased to announce a call for nominations for the 5th Annual Awards Celebration, which will be presented at the Athenaeum at Goucher College on Thursday, January 28, 2010. The USGBC Maryland Annual Awards honor green building projects, professionals and companies in the state of Maryland. Award categories include: Green Commercial Interior; Green Core & Shell; Green Existing Buildings Operation and Maintenance; Green New Construction / Major Renovation; Green New Construction; Green Home; Member of the Year; Member Firm of the Year; Young Professional Project; and Special Accomplishment. Now in its 5th year, the awards have quickly become the standard by which accomplishment in the green building industry in Maryland is recognized. According to Awards Committee Chair, Prescott Gaylord, LEED AP, "The green building awards are going to showcase the best and brightest green building projects in Maryland."
