Lee Technologies Awarded Multi-Million Dollar Contract By Dept. Of Defense For Containerized Data Center Solution At Texas Facility

August 26, 2009

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lee Technologies, a leading provider of mission-critical infrastructure solutions that enable commercial enterprises and government agencies to avoid disaster and mitigate risk to their technology facilities, today announced it has been selected by the Department of Defense (DoD) to design and implement a containerized power and cooling infrastructure solution for the DoD Texas facility. The project is valued at more than $3 million. The containerized power and cooling infrastructure was designed and implemented for DoD so that it could be seamlessly added to – and in some cases replace – existing infrastructure without disrupting uptime at the Texas facility. The data center design solution not only takes into account the day one design of a facility, but also ensures scalability, resiliency and ongoing optimal maintenance and operations. "Lee Technologies is honored to have been selected by the Department of Defense to assist them with this project," said Anthony Rizzo, Vice President, Public Sector at Lee Technologies. "Efficient power and cooling is critical to data center uptime, and Lee Technologies' proven methodology when designing and implementing mission-critical infrastructure solutions will deliver 100 percent uptime for the duration of the DoD container project and beyond." Design and deployment of the containerized power and cooling solution initiated in June 2009, and it is expected the project will be completed by the end of the year.
