New Environmentally Friendly Hanwha L&C USA Manufacturing Plant to Begin Servicing the US Architectural and Design Industries

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Hanwha L&C USA, the leading manufacturer of innovative surfacing products, will hold a celebratory event today to commemorate the grand opening of its Canadian manufacturing facility. In keeping with Hanwha's ongoing commitment to environmentally friendly production, the 200,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Canada will utilize the latest environmentally responsible manufacturing processes. The facility's first phase of production will be the manufacturing of HanStone(TM) Fine Quartz surfaces for kitchen countertops, vanities and other surfaces for US residential and commercial markets. The manufacturing facility will also be equipped with the most advanced Breton(TM) Technology, resulting in the production of the most sophisticated looks or designs of natural quartz, in an array of colors; further distancing itself from its competitors. With the initial investment of $70 plus million for the construction of the facility, Hanwha is demonstrating a significant commitment to better service not only the US architectural and design industries, but also global markets in an eco-friendly manner. The new manufacturing plant will enable Hanwha to meet the growing demand for their premium product lines with greater production capabilities coupled with a premier distribution network.
