TLC Seeks Nominees for 'Home Made Simple'

April 10, 2007

SILVER SPRING, Md., April 9 /PRNewswire/ -- TLC's hit daytime series HOME MADE SIMPLE-the show that helps you simplify, beautify and organize your home and life-is filming its third season in Chicago! The series will be produced in the metropolitan area in May and June, 2007, and the production team is in search of local families, or friends who share a home, who are deserving of some help and inspiration from the three HOME MADE SIMPLE Mavens-experts in organization, decor, crafts, cooking, DIY and more. Nominated families from season two included a stylish young couple who could dress to impress but had bare, bland decor at home; a successful career woman who turned into a homemaker and stepmom overnight when she got married; and two busy working journalists with a house full of ethnic folk art but no room for a TV. In each episode, the Mavens surprised families with big and small ways to improve their homes and their lives by offering simple solutions to both everyday and unusual problems. Viewers can go online to www.homemadesimple.com to learn more valuable tips on how to create their own HOME MADE SIMPLE.
