MP Global Products, LLC produces innovative, earth friendly underlayments for hard surface flooring: QuietWalk® for laminate and floating wood, Insulayment® for glued or nailed wood flooring, and FiberBacker® for ceramic tile. The company also added a user-friendly, electric in-floor heat system called QuietWarmth® to the line-up for use under laminate, glued-wood, and ceramic tile flooring.

The patented manufacturing process employed by MP Global allows for the use of recycled fiber materials otherwise destined for landfill. The fiber matrix produced by this unique low-melt process allows for the dissipate moisture while retaining its exceptional compression resistance and sound deadening characteristics over the lifetime of the floor.

While many manufacturers in the flooring industry are changing the formulation of their products to attract environmentally concerned customers, MP Global Products has always been environmentally aware, saving natural resources by manufacturing products made almost entirely from post-industrial/pre-consumer recycled fibers from the carpet and textile industries.

All of the MP Global fiber underlayment products are third party certified for recycled content and are LEED® compliant in the Materials and Resources section 4.1-4.2. They are also third party certified for indoor air quality having successfully conformed to CA section 01350 for the standard office and classroom scenarios and the Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS).
