Colonial Craft by Homeshield, a Quanex Building Products company, combines high-quality materials with precision craftsmanship to offer customers a broad range of wood products. The two facilities located in Wisconsin focus on wood mouldings and engineered flooring. Available in 25 different wood species and over 300 profiles, Colonial Craft provides lumberyards, distributors, and OEM partners with a wide range of options to create specific aesthetic and functional designs for new construction and renovation projects. Homeshield’s capabilities include manufacturing high-end interior mouldings and extension jambs, as well as casing, grilles, sash, rails, cabinets, check rails and stiles for wood windows.
Colonial Craft is proud to offer Owens Flooring out of their Shawano, WI facility. Colonial Craft combines high quality Baltic birch plywood with a solid hardwood wear layer to create a truly remarkable engineered flooring product. It offers customers an uncompromising choice in beauty partnered with stability and versatility.
With a strong commitment to sustainability, Colonial Craft by Homeshield was the first hardwood millwork manufacturer in the United States to have achieved SmartWood certification in 1994 from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). In addition, the wear layer combined with a plywood core on their hardwood flooring results in the look and wearability of solid wood while using half the number of trees.
