A new, long-awaited standard for moisture mitigation systems has been published by ASTM International. Standard Practice for Two-Component Resin Based Membrane-Forming Moisture Mitigation Systems for Use Under Resilient Floor Coverings, designated ASTM F3010 - 13, was approved by ASTM Committee F06 on Resilient Floor Coverings on June 1, 2013. KOSTER American Corporation Technical Director, Howard Kanare, made significant contributions to the standard, which was under development since 2007 and is the work product of members of ASTM F06.40..12 Task Group on Moisture Mitigation Systems.
