CASE STUDY: Daylighting design enhances learning in schools

Unicel Architectural and Lewis & Malm Architects today announced and published a case study detailing the incorporation of daylighting design to optimize learning environments at the Woolwich Central School in Maine. The $16 million renovation project focused on sustainable architectural approaches and uses solar shading and integrated motorized louvers to filter sunlight into learning spaces while managing heat gain and glare.
