Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Determine ideal location and size for a projection screen taking into account room size, room elements, ambient light, and video format to allow all viewers a clear and easy viewing.
List the screen model types and characteristics and choose a screen model that best suits the aesthetics and function of a selected space.
Select a screen viewing surface that meets requirements of brightness, viewing angle and VOC emissions.
Identify and select the electrical components of a motorized screen that best suit and specific project or client.

Name: Chris Broome
Title: Contract Market Manager, Draper, Inc.
Background: Chris joined Draper in 1994 and has worked in all aspects of the company’s business. He is currently responsible for the company’s sales to the architectural channel for all three product lines. He works with product and regional sales managers to promote Draper projection screens, window shades, and gymnasium equipment to the architectural community and our dealer network.
In the past, Chris has served as Export Sales Manager, overseeing the sales of Draper products in over 100 countries through a period of strong growth. He has also served as a Regional Sales Manager covering the Midwestern United States. In this capacity, he worked with Draper dealers, as well as with architects and consultants, supporting all three of the company’s product lines.
Chris is a member of CSI, and is a LEED Accredited Professional. He is involved in the Indiana chapter of USGBC. He has been involved in a number of initiatives to protect our environment through improvements to Draper’s products and operations.
