Provides a basic overview of sustainability in interiors. Attendees will learn vocabulary, terms and theories with regard to sustainability and environmentalism, gain an understanding of the various positions on environmentalism from a personal standpoint, explore the value of indoor air quality – including why third-party certification is significant, recognize who to “trust” and how to avoid green-washing, as well as, receive a basic overview of LEED and what areas of laminate clad materials could apply for point values.
