Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Define the functions and elements of stairway assemblies.
- Explain the importance of designing safe, code-compliant stairways and the need for anti-slip safety stair products.
- State the various codes, standards and installation options related to stair design.
- Discuss the types of anti-slip safety stair product options that are available to specify for best performance for a range of applications and project requirements.

Background: Tim Brennan has a BS Degree in Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, as well as thirty years’ experience in Sales, Sales Management and Project Management. He has consulted and participated in timeline management for anti slip safety products for the following projects:
- World Trade Center Towers construction
- Statue of Liberty Renovation
- Quantico Marine Base Safety Renovations
- Introduction of Photoluminescent Treads to the NYC Transit Systems
Tim is married, father of two, a marathon runner, volunteers at church and school events.
Chuck Hess has over 35 years' experience in sales and marketing at Wooster Products Inc., a manufacture of safety stair and walkway products. Chuck has direct experience working with architects, contractors and building owners. He conducts seminar presentations and various design recommendations as required on a daily basis. Chuck has a BS degree in Marketing.
