Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Identify the inner components of a door and specify appropriate materials based upon duty levels and performances required.
Technically visualize the veneer door face with improved specification abilities.
Discuss specialty door principles including fire doors and available construction options and restrictions.
Be conversant with door environmental issues related to components, factory manufacturing, and finishing techniques.
Discuss door environmental issues related to the LEED® program and specify certified wood doors for LEED projects.

Title: Special Projects Coordinator, Lambton Doors
Background: Caroline has been at Lambton Doors since 2001. During this time she has occupied the position of Sales Representative for Eastern Canada. She also managed the quotation department all while juggling a customer service coordinator role. Caroline is very well rehearsed in the technical aspects of wood door and frame composition and technicality. With these strengths she has been instrumental in providing technical assistance to our internal and external sales force along with advising architects, designers and customers alike. Caroline is a definite asset to the Lambton team and her willingness and ability to assist you is a plus.
