  • Terms relating to the various types of below grade building structures, their respective structural components, including environmental and construction factors that affect the protection of below grade building structures.
  • The importance of waterproofing including the Health, Safety and Welfare (HSW) issues surrounding below grade building structures.
  • Descriptions of waterproofing systems including Envelope System, Concrete/CMU Walls and Lagging Wall/Blindside Walls.
  • How to identify and describe the important design features of waterproofing systems in typical field construction environments.
