- List the benefits that businesses and building occupants derive from natural daylight.
- Explain the concept of solar heat gain, including its impact on a building’s energy use.
- Summarize how automated solar shading systems provide energy savings, and reduce glare and solar heat gain, while also providing optimized comfort for occupants.
- Discuss the green/sustainable benefits of using automated solar shading on the exterior of a building.
- State the impact that automated solar shading controls have on LEED certification.
