Without light, an object, or a viewer, we do not have color. In fact, the way we perceive and view color is impacted by light, both natural and artificial. This course delves into the properties of color and light. The program includes discussions on types of lighting, metamerism, color rendering index (CRI), and light reflectance value (LRV) and how they affect design choices.

Background: Veronica is responsible for managing and developing the company’s Architectural and Design Representatives positioned throughout North America. During her tenure at Benjamin Moore, she has held several positions in Sales and Retail Services, facilitated countless color classes for staff and consumers, as well as CEU courses and training seminars for the A&D community. Veronica began her career as a Retail Store Designer and later worked as a Lighting Designer, producing conceptual lighting designs and layouts for a variety of prominent retailers and restaurants. She is an industry member of ASID and IIDA.
