The Race for Mentions

The 2014 Pritzker Prize has been deservedly awarded to Japanese architect Shigeru Ban for his innovative and inspirational humanitarian work. In the arena of social networks though, it looks like there are number of other winners in the “race for mentions”.

Domus.com takes a fun look at who is the most discussed and commented architect on the social networks, and who is the most admired. They conducted a popularity contest among architects based on a sample of 200,000 English language posts from social media sites like Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Goggle+, on various blogs and forums and on YouTube. What they discovered was that being mentioned didn’t equate to being appreciated. Take a look at the results here.
